Jhabua, 11 February: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Congress was defeated in the 2023 assembly elections, now its annihilation is certain in 2024. He said that the welfare of the most backward and deprived is the priority of our government.
Prime Minister Modi was addressing the tribal conference organized at Gopalpura in Jhabua on Sunday during his stay in Madhya Pradesh. He started the 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign in Madhya Pradesh through the program.
Jhabua is as much connected to Madhya Pradesh as it is to Gujarat.
The Prime Minister greeted the people attending the program in Gujarati. He said that Jhabua is as much connected to Gujarat as it is to Madhya Pradesh. While living here, I got a chance to connect closely with the life and traditions of this place. That feeling gets refreshed by coming among you. These days, preparations for Bhagoriya will be going on in this area. I wish you all a very happy Bhagoriya. Before Bhagoriya, I have had the privilege of handing over many gifts at your feet.
Before coming here, I saw that discussions were being held regarding my visit. Some people are saying, Modi will start the Lok Sabha battle from Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. I want to tell you that Modi has not come to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. I have come to express my gratitude to the people of Madhya Pradesh. Before the assembly election results in Madhya Pradesh, you have told what is your mood for the Lok Sabha.
This time the Prime Minister also repeated the slogan of crossing 400. PM said that I am also listening to NDA’s talk of crossing 400. But BJP alone will cross 370. Appealing to the people present to start preparing for the elections, he said that you have to come from here and do only one thing. In the last three elections, find out the result of your polling booth and how many votes were polled. Write down the number of votes polled at which Kamal got more votes and where he got more votes, he should get 370 more votes. Make such preparations. .
Tribal society is the guarantee of the country’s bright future.
The Prime Minister said that the reason behind making Madhya Pradesh sick was Congress’s hateful attitude towards villages, poor and tribal society. For Congress, tribal means some votes. He remembered the poor only during elections. Atal ji’s government created a separate ministry for tribals. This is the BJP government, which increased the MSP on forest produce. About 90 forest products were brought under MSP. For us, tribal society is not a vote bank but the pride of the country. Tribal society is the guarantee of the bright future of the country.
The most backward and most deprived are the priority of our government.
Modi said that Congress opened only 100 Eklavya schools in so many years, whereas the BJP government has opened four times more schools. It is not possible for even a single tribal child to remain deprived of education. BJP reformed the forest wealth law and returned their rights to the tribals. Apart from this, our government worked for sickle cell anemia. Today, people are being given their land papers through the ownership scheme. Even today, ownership rights letters have been given to lakhs of people. This is the security letter which provides protection in land disputes. Those who are most backward and most deprived are the priority of our government.
Congress was only concerned about its own palace.
He said that our government is working for the modern infrastructure development of Madhya Pradesh. We are giving 24 times more money to Madhya Pradesh than the previous governments. Today crores of rupees are being sent to each sector. Earlier, rail and road projects did not reach the tribal areas because Congress was only concerned about its palace.
Earlier, in the Tribal Conference, Prime Minister Modi dedicated to the nation by laying the foundation stone and inaugurating 22 different development projects worth Rs. 7500 crore related to road, rail, power and water sector. Prime Minister Modi rode on a chariot and reached the stage of the tribal conference, greeting the people. On reaching the stage of Tribal Mahasammelan, Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav warmly welcomed and congratulated him by presenting him a flower bunch.
A large number of people from tribal community have arrived from different districts to participate in the program. People welcomed him by raising slogans, Modi-Modi. The Prime Minister was presented a tribal jacket, yellow turban, a memento of Vanvasi Ram and a tribal bow and arrow. Before the program, PM Modi visited the exhibition based on various development works in the Tribal Conference. During this time, Union Tribal Minister Arjun Munda, Governor Mangu Bhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav were also present with him.
