Lucknow, 18 September: On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi (10 days), traffic routes have been changed in Lucknow for idol immersion and procession. Even on restricted routes, movement of ambulances, hearses, fire services, school vehicles etc. will be allowed even during the VIP programme. For this, traffic control number can be contacted on 9454405155.
According to the traffic police, for smooth flow of traffic, vehicles will be restricted and diverted as follows. This diversion will continue from 19th September till the end of the program on 28th September.

According to the information given by the traffic police, roadways buses going from Faizabad to Kaiserbagh will be diverted from GTI towards Gomtinagar. From where he will be able to reach Kaiserbagh via CDRI from behind Samta Mulak, Gandhi Setu, PNT, Sankalp Vatika, Chiraiyajheel, Clark Avadh to his destination. Roadways and city buses coming to Kaiserbagh from Sitapur Road will go to Kaiserbagh via Madianv, Purnia, Daliganj Railway Crossing, Pakka Bridge, Shahmina, Daliganj Bridge, CDRI and in return will go through Balrampur Dhal, Shaheed Memorial as above.
The normal traffic coming from Chowk Daliganj bridge will not be able to go directly from Clark Avadh Tiraha via Subhash intersection, this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Chiraiya Jheel from Clark Avadh Tiraha. The traffic coming from Daliganj Bridge Ikka Tanga Stand intersection will not be able to go towards Nadwa College via Gomti River Bandha (Jhulelal Park).
This traffic will be able to reach its destination by crossing Gomti River Bridge or directly via Umrao Singh Dharamshala, from IT intersection.
Normal traffic from Telephone Exchange Square towards Maqbara Road will not be able to go towards Parivartan Chowk, this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Kaiserbagh Bus Stand or CDRI Tiraha, Clark Avadh. The traffic coming from Nirala Nagar will not be able to go towards Subhash Square via University Road from IT Square. This traffic will be able to turn left and right from IT intersection and reach its destination via Samthar petrol pump via Nishatganj and Daliganj bridge.
Similarly, the traffic coming from Kaiserbagh and CDRI, Clark Avadh Tiraha will not be able to come towards Subhash intersection, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination directly from Clark Avadh Tiraha via Krishna Medical Center towards Chiraiya Lake Tiraha.
Traffic coming from Hazratganj intersection and Parivartan Chowk will not be able to go from Subhash intersection towards IT intersection via Hanuman Setu. This traffic will be able to reach its destination via Maqbara Road, Telephone Exchange, CDRI or Chiraiyajheel.
Normal traffic will not be able to go from Hanuman Setu Nadwa Bandha Tiraha towards Nadwa Bandha Road Jhulelal Park, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via IT intersection.
