Tripti Dimri, who played a small but important role in Ranbir Kapoor’s much talked about film ‘Animal’, is in the news these days. She is getting a lot of appreciation for the character of Zoya in this film.
Now Trupti has revealed what was the reaction of her parents after seeing her intimate scene with Ranbir. She also said that there were only a few people on the set while shooting this scene.
Talking to the media, Tripti said, ‘My parents were a little surprised after seeing this scene. She said that we have never seen this in films and you have done it. It took time for them to accept the scene I did. They said that you should not have done such a scene. As parents, we will definitely feel the difference of this scene.
Dimri told that she told them I was not doing anything wrong. This is my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I have no problem doing such scenes. I am an actress and I have to be 100 percent honest towards the character I am playing, so that’s what I did.
Earlier, in an interview given to the media, Tripti had told how she had shot this intimate scene. There were only four-five people on the set and no one else was allowed there. Apart from the director and cinematographer, only Ranbir and I were on the set. Every five minutes they were asking me, ‘Are you OK?’ Do you want something?’
Tripti said that she did not feel uncomfortable while shooting the scenes.
It is noteworthy that the film ‘Animal’ has been released in theaters on December 1 and is currently in the news. The film is performing tremendously at the box office. In nine days, the film has done a business of Rs 398.5 crore across the country. Today being a holiday on Sunday, more audiences will reach theatres. This will increase the film’s earnings even further.
