Noida, 27 August: The Noida Authority has announced that one nautical mile of air space near the twin towers demolition site would be temporarily restricted for aircraft on August 28. A nautical mile is roughly 1.8 kilometres long.
The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation has given its approval, according to the Noida Authority, which oversaw the destruction of the roughly 100-metre-tall twin buildings on Sunday. “In light of the dust created by the demolition, the Ministry of Aviation has provided its authorization for the non-availability of one nautical mile of air space for aircraft to fly at the time of destruction,” it said in a statement.
