Sambhal, 5 Oct: The decapitated headless bodies of two men from Bulandshahr’s Kaivalna village were found in the Rajpura area of Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district. The bodies were found over the last two days, and authorities are now looking for their heads.

According to police reports, both men were slain after being reportedly kidnapped on Saturday night by four Kaivalna residents. Shlok Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police in Bulandshahr, stated that three persons had been arrested: Durgesh Sharma, Mukul Kumar, and Lata Sharma (mother of Durgesh).

On Saturday night, Bhupendra Kumar, 30, and his cousin Jagdish nicknamed Bhura Singh, 25, went missing. Following a complaint by father Naresh Singh, a case was registered at the Salempur police station under Section 364 (kidnapping).

Naresh Singh stated that his son Bhupendra and nephew Jagdish had gone missing between the nights of October 1 and 2. According to the SSP, the three detained suspects acknowledged during interrogation that Bhupendra Kumar had illicit relations with Lata Sharma. Durgesh had observed both in a precarious position. Bhupendra Kumar and Jagdish were summoned to his home by Durgesh, Mukul, and Tushar Sharma. They thrashed the duo till they died. Then they drove Bhupendra and Bhura to a secluded place in Rajpura, cut their heads, put the skulls in a bag, and threw them into the Ganga, according to the SSP.

They tossed bodies at two separate spots in the vicinity. Sambhal police discovered Jagdish’s body on October 2, while Bulandshahr police retrieved Bhupendra Kumar’s body from the Rajpura locality on Tuesday. According to the SSP, the accused requested a ?5 crore ransom via a phone call from the deceased Bhupendra’s phone in order to depict the occurrence as an abduction.

According to the SSP, when accused Durgesh was escorted to the jungle of Kailwan, where he concealed a sharp-edged weapon and a point 315 bore countrymade pistol, Durgesh opened fire on the cops with the country-made pistol and attempted to flee. Durgesh was shot in the leg when police opened fire in self-defense. He was taken to the hospital.
