Two tourism development schemes approved for Ayodhya

Lucknow, 30 January: The Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh has approved two tourism development schemes in Ayodhya. In the first approval, thematic gate and tourism facilities will be developed in Abanpur Saroha village in Ayodhya. One crore rupees have been approved for this, out of which sixty lakh rupees have been released.

With the amount approved for the rural tourist destination in Abanpur Saroha village, work will be done for accessible toilets, sand stone flooring, stone benches, big gate, signage and solar lights for pilgrims. In the second approval, one crore rupees have been approved for the tourism development of Nagar Panchayat Khirouni Suchita Ganj Sohawal in Ayodhya. Here also 60 lakhs have been released.

This area in Ayodhya is seen in connection with the prestige of Jwala Devi temple. A huge crowd of devotees gather here on the occasion of Navratri. From the amount sanctioned for the development of the religious area, works like passenger shed, toilet, interlocking, drinking water, post stone bench, signage, solar light and beautification will be done.
