New Delhi, 11 September: The Union Health Ministry is going to organize Ayushman Mela at more than one lakh places for the health check-up and treatment of people.
On Monday, Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said that under the ‘Ayushman Bhava’ campaign, ‘Ayushman Mela’ will be organized at more than 1,17,000 health and wellness centres where all the poor and middle class people will be treated.
He informed that under this campaign, all block-level hospitals and medical colleges will organize health camps in their premises.
He further told ‘Swachhata Abhiyaan’ will also be conducted in health institutions across the country including hospitals and dispensaries. The villages where Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries are free from TB and leprosy and have 100% corona vaccination records will be declared as ‘Ayushman Gram’.
