UP 112 quarterly magazine was also released
Lucknow, 10 January: On the third Foundation Day function of ‘UP 112’, the emergency service of the UP Police, Director General of Police(DGP) of Uttar Pradesh OP Singh on Friday honored the meritorious employees and aware callers (citizens). The DGP also released the quarterly magazine of UP 112 at this function held at the headquarters of UP 112 at Gomti Nagar Extension.
On this occasion, the Director General of Police said that today 112 is synonymous with policing. Till some time back we were fascinated for vehicles. Our police personnel guarded the people of UP with dedication and enthusiasm. We have increased our visibility and response time. UP 112 should play a strong role, so that we can provide better services to 23 crore people. The goal of smart policing service should be carried forward. This includes smart response time, smart administration and smart citizen services.
Such concerned callers like Raghavendra Singh of Noida and Dinesh Kumar of Kanpur Nagar who called βUP 112β , on whose information the victim was given quick assistance or prevented before any major untoward incident occurred, were awarded by the DGP at the function.
