Lucknow, August 26: In the last twenty-four hours in the state, a record 5,898 new cases of corona have been reported, with this, the number of active cases has gone up to 51,317.
At the same time, 1, 48,562 people have been sent back to their homes after recovering completely.
On the other hand, 3,141 people have died in the state so far from this infection.
State’s Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Wednesday that a total of 1, 44,802 corona samples were tested on Tuesday in various laboratories of the state. With this, a total of 49, 41,679 corona samples have been tested so far in the state.
Health teams reach among 9.71 crore people
Health department teams are constantly reaching out and surveying people in various fields. So far 2, 82,756 teams have surveyed 1, 93, 20,725 crore households in different areas. Under this, medical screening of 9, 71, 70,306 people has been done.
40,217 major surgeries performed from 01 June to 25 August
ACS Health further informed that along with Covid care in the state, non-covid care is also being given full attention. Last year, from June 01 to August 25, 50,118 major surgeries were performed in government hospitals. In spite of the corona infection period, 40,217 major surgeries were performed during the same time period this year.
25,279 people undergoing treatment in home isolation
He informed that out of the total infected patients in the state, 25,279 people are availing the facility of home isolation i.e. at home. So far 83,575 people have undergone treatment in home isolation. Of these, 58,296 people have been discharged on completion of treatment time.
βAt the same time, 2,341 people are admitted to various government hospitals under the arrangement of L-1 plus L-1 plus in private hospitals, 250 patient hotels and the rest of the state government’s L-1, L-2 and L-3,β Prasad added.
44,097 people have availed benefits from e-Sanjivani portal so far
ACS Health confirmed that along with this, people of the state are constantly using the e-Sanjeevani portal, they can take advice from the doctors sitting at home. So far, 2,145 people availed the facility on Tuesday. At the same time, 44,097 people of the state have benefited from this.
62,796 Covid help desks set up in the state
A total of 62,796 ‘Covid Help Desk’ have been established in the state. About six and a half lakh symptomatic people were identified through them. Oximeters and thermometers are available in these. Adequate availability of sanitizer has been ensured in all these units.
