Lucknow, 26 May: The Yogi government presented the budget for the financial year 2022-23 in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
In this, the state government has also allotted a budget of Rs 100 crore for the preparation of Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj in 2025. The government is making every effort for this event to be held in Sangamnagari. Devotees from all over the country and abroad will come to this event. In such a situation, keeping in mind their every convenience, the schemes are being completed expeditiously.
The Yogi government does not want to leave any stone unturned regarding the Maha Kumbh going to be held in the year 2025. Pucca ghats will be constructed on the Sangam banks. Cleanliness efforts and widening of city roads will be completed at the fair site. The government also plans to increase facilities like food courts, exhibitions, water spots etc. to be held throughout the year in the Mela area.
After presenting the budget in the house, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also discussed the provision of Rs 100 crore in this year’s budget for the preparation of Mahakumbh during the press conference.
It is worth mentioning that due to the successful organization of Kumbh in the year 2019, the state was recognized all over the country and abroad. The honour and respect of the state had increased after the event organized under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi. Cleanliness was especially appreciated. Three consecutive world records were also set during the 2019 Kumbh. In such a situation, the state government is emphasizing on the preparation of the upcoming Mahakumbh from now on.
