LUCKNOW, 13 APRIL: The Bundelkhand Expressway is going to be inaugurated soon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials to complete the preparations for this.
The development of Bundelkhand will get a new impetus with the start of the expressway. It will directly benefit the economically less developed districts like Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur and Jalaun. This expressway will connect Bundelkhand to the national capital Delhi through Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Yamuna Expressway.
Along with this, Bundelkhand Expressway will make a big contribution to the social and economic development of the region. Through this, agriculture, commerce, tourism and industries will be promoted and the income of the people will increase.
A spokesman of the state government said that through the Bundelkhand Expressway, the industries of the region would have easy access to the capital of the country. Industrial corridors will be developed on both sides of the expressway, which will provide opportunities for the establishment of industries.
“Bundelkhand Expressway will prove to be very useful for food processing and milk based industries. It will be easier to get the products to the market in less time. With the start of Bundelkhand Expressway, employment opportunities will increase for the people of the area,” he added.
An official spokesman said that the length of Bundelkhand Expressway is 296 km. It will start from Chitrakoot district and go till Etawah district. Its construction is almost complete. It will soon be dedicated to the public.
