Hathras, July 1: A troubling occurrence occurred aboard a Hathras Depot roadways bus en route to Lucknow, in which the conductor was involved in a sexual act with a young woman. A passenger recorded the event on camera, which has now gone popular on social media.
The conductor is seen in the video sitting with the woman in the rear seat of the bus, both of them covered in blankets, enjoying themselves. Several passengers spotted the infraction and began videotaping it. The operator became enraged by their behaviour and got into a violent dispute with the passenger who was filming. According to local reports, the event occurred roughly 10 days ago.
Driver and Conductor Contract Termination: After the video went viral, the regional transportation authority, ARM (Assistant Regional Manager), acted quickly and terminated the contracts of the driver and conductor engaged in the event. The video evidence was key in the judgement.
Shashirani, the ARM of Hathras Depot, acknowledged that the video is around 10 days old. In response to a passenger complaint, the authorities swiftly terminated the driver’s and conductor’s employment. In addition, an inquiry of the entire occurrence is underway to determine the full extent of the incident.
The event occurred near Lucknow, according to the video, although the location is not specified. However, one passenger adds that the Alambagh bus station is arriving in half an hour, implying that the tragedy happened near Lucknow. The authorities are investigating the passenger’s complaint and taking suitable action.
