UP Cabinet 43 decisions- Yogi govt to bring ‘Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance-2024’ to prevent paper leak

Lucknow, June 25: Out of the 44 proposals placed in the cabinet meeting held in Lok Bhavan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 43 were approved. Many important proposals related to development, including the proposal to bring ‘Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance-2024’ to give strict punishment to those who leak the paper and recover from them, have got the green signal.

After the meeting, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh gave information about the decisions. He said that under the Tourism Department, approval has been given to the construction of a world-class temple museum by Tata Company in Ayodhya with CSIR fund of Rs 650 crore. Its total proposed budget of Rs 750 crore has been approved. The land will be provided on lease free of cost.

These decisions got approval-

Approval of free land by the Tourism Department for the development of Shakumbhari Devi Dham tourism in Saharanpur’s Behat tehsil.

Approval to give the closed or loss making tourist accommodation houses of the Tourism Department on PPP mode.

In this, approval to give Rahi Tourist Accommodation House, Munshiganj (Amethi), Khurja (Bulandshahr), Deva Sharif (Barabanki), Hargaon (Sitapur) on lease and to give Letter of Award.

Green signal to build a helipad for the construction of heliport on PPP mode in Lucknow Prayagraj Kapilvastu (Siddharthnagar) district for tourism development, road air connectivity in UP.

Decision to adopt the heritage buildings of the state on PPP mode. Today, approval to receive technical tender for three heritage buildings Kothi Roshan Uddaula Lucknow, Shukla Talab Kanpur, Barsana Jal Mahal Mathura.

Approval of Chief Minister Tourism Fellowship Program under Tourism Policy 2022 regarding tourism in the state, researchers will provide participation and study for tourism development in this fellowship. Also, will assist in tourism development with investors. Researchers will be given 30 thousand honorarium and 10 thousand for field visit and the benefit of a tablet.

Approval to develop the birthplace of Paramahansa Yogananda ji in Gorakhpur as a tourist destination. Approval to give 460 square meters of land in Asarkarganj, Gorakhpur to the Tourism Department.

Approval of rules for Electrical Inspectors and Chief Electrical Inspectors for the Energy Department. Approval to make rules for residential, non-residential properties in municipalities, corporations and Nagar Panchayats.

Approval of new sewerage project in Ayodhya, approval of a scheme of Rs 351.40 crore in Cantt area, decision to give sewerage connection to 27,928 houses.

Under the Amrit Yojana, in the Amrit 01 scheme, the share of the bodies with a population of more than 10 lakh has been reduced from 30% to 15% keeping in view their financial conditions. Also, approval has been given to reduce the share of the bodies with a population of less than 10 lakh from 20% to 10%.

In Amrit 02 Yojana, the share of bodies with population below 1 lakh was reduced from 20 to 10 percent, the share of bodies with population from 1 to 10 lakh was reduced to 10 percent. The share of bodies with population above 10 lakh was made 15 percent.

In the series of MoUs signed in the Investment Summit, approval was given for one-time settlement of the debt of investors whose units were closed. Agreement has been reached to pay 117 crore 19 lakh for 11 units. With this, 871.85 acres of land will be acquired by the Industrial Development Department.

It is estimated that Rs 2254.35 crore will be spent in the proposed extension of the 11.56 km long Aqua Line Metro Corridor from Sector 142 station to Botanical Garden in Noida. Out of this, Rs 573 crore will be given by the UP government, the remaining will be built by the Noida Authority.

Decision to provide 69.86 acres of land available in Barabanki unit of Uttar Pradesh State Spinning Company Limited to UPSIDA free of cost and 175 acres of land in Meja Prayagraj, 90 acres in Banda, 57 acres of land in Rasra of Ballia to UPSIDA free of cost.

Out of the industrial corridors established by the Central Government, 60% of Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor passes through Uttar Pradesh. Two nodes in this corridor are proposed in Agra and Prayagraj. Approval has been given to provide 1058 acres of land in Agra and 1138 acres of land in Prayagraj. Presently, this land has been made available to UPSIDA. NICDC and UPSIDA will construct it.

Approval has been given to give capital subsidy to M/s Samsung Display Noida Pvt. Ltd. in Noida. A total of Rs 207 crore will be distributed. This is a unit of Samsung.

Approval to establish 4 more Excellence Centers under the Startup Policy. In this, two 5G technology units will be established in Saharanpur with IIT Kanpur and the second with IIT Roorkee. Center for Excellence will be established with IIM Lucknow for Blockchain Technology. Microsoft will cooperate in this. The fourth 3D printing area for edited manufacturing will be established in Ghaziabad.

Approval for issuing No Objection Certificate to nine companies. Approval for issuing NOC to Kanodia Cements Pvt. Ltd. Bulandshahr and Pratapgarh, Balaji Wafers Pvt. Ltd. Hardoi, Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producer Varanasi, Shri Cements Etah.

Approval to 3 proposals of IPC, CRPC, Evidence Act.

Approval to the proposal to give Old Pension Scheme to those people in whose jobs were advertised before 28 March 2005 in Uttar Pradesh.

Approval to give Patient Care Allowance equal to AIIMS to non-faculty officers and employees of Group A and Group B Para Medical in SGPGI Lucknow. This will entail an annual expenditure burden of 96 lakh 72 thousand.

Approval to start Promote Pharma in the state government controlled institution to promote pharmaceutical research innovation.

Approval to the proposal to maintain the building in the Government Medical Institute, Greater Noida. An expenditure of 25 crore 48 lakh will be incurred on this.

Approval given to extension of boundaries of three authorities. 215 revenue villages included in Varanasi Development Authority, 94 villages of Raja Talab tehsil of Varanasi, 30 villages of Pindra, 18 villages of Sadar tehsil, 2 villages of Sakaldiha tehsil of Chandauli district, 54 villages of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar, 17 villages of Chunar tehsil of Mirzapur district have been approved to be included in Varanasi Development Authority.

Approval given to proposal to include 35 revenue villages in Bareilly Development Authority. Approval given to include 71 revenue villages in Moradabad Development Authority.

Approval has been given to provide facility of self printing of small value stamps in e-stamp certificate rules. Facility of online e-filing has been given in registry office.

Proposal to give scholarship to students whose scholarship was withheld due to delay in the results of respective schools or due to other technical errors, within 2 months has been approved. Students will benefit from this.

The proposal has been approved by the Council of Ministers regarding competitive examinations, promotion examinations or other recruitment paper leaks. Those who will be caught in this (institution or people) have been provided with 2 years to life imprisonment and a fine of one crore. An ordinance will be issued in this regard. A target of planting 35 crore trees has been set in 2024-25.
