Lucknow, April 8: The Uttar Pradesh government has passed thirteen proposals in the cabinet meeting held in Lok Bhavan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that 15 proposals came in the cabinet. Out of that, 13 proposals were given the green signal. In this, mainly the proposal for transfer of land for medical college in Hathras, approval of the proposal for increase in honorarium of PRD jawans, as well as the proposal for construction of Bachpan Day-Care Center for Divyang children in Ayodhya was passed.
He said that approval has been given to transfer the Nazul land of Tehsil Sadar to the Department of Disabled Empowerment for free for the establishment of Bachpan Day-Care Center for hearing impaired, visually impaired, mentally challenged students in the age group of three to seven years in Ayodhya district. For the construction of the proposed 300-bed hospital in Ayodhya, 12,798 square meters of land of the old Sitapur Eye Hospital was accepted to be transferred to the Medical and Health Department. Apart from this, the cabinet decided to increase the honorarium of the Provincial Guard Force (PRD) jawan by Rs 105. Earlier, Rs 395 were being given. Now Rs 500 will be given every day. This decision will benefit about 34 thousand jawans.
The Finance Minister said that the proposal for reorganization of the Finance Department- Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit Service Rules was approved, while the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit Service Rules 2025 (Amendment) were also accepted. An interchange will be constructed at the crossing of Yamuna and Eastern Peripheral Expressway at Afzalpur. The entire amount will be borne by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Khanna further informed that similarly, the proposal for transfer of land for establishment of medical college in Hathras has been approved and the proposal for transfer of 6.675 hectares of land from the premises of Milk Production Cooperative Union Limited Sasni on Agra-Aligarh road to the Medical and Health Department for construction of medical college has been approved.
