Bhadohi, 10 September: Corona bomb exploded on Thursday at Karigaon in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, a chaos broke out after surfacing of 48 people infected with the deadly virus in the village Karigaon under Gopiganj police station.
However, this could be probably the first such report in a district or state when half a century of patients have been reported in a day from a certain place.
Despite the various efforts initiated by the district administration and health department to curtail the spread of the highly transmissible disease, cases of corona infection are increasing in the Carpet city of Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from this, reports of 10 more people in the district including health workers of Community Health Center of Suriyawan and Gopiganj have confirmed Covid-19 cases. With the surfacing of 58 new patients, the number of infected people has now reached 1294.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Bhadohi Dr Laxmi Singh informed that 32363 people have been sampled in the district so far. In which the report of 31438 people came negative. On Thursday, 392 people were screened in which reports of 925 people are yet to come.
βSo far, 1054 people have recovered from the disease and gone back to their homes. Positive patients are being isolated,β apprised CMO.
Whatever the district administration claimed, but the corona infection is increasing rapidly and concerned authorities also appeared to be careless.
