UP DGP hoists the flag at the police headquarters in Lucknow

Lucknow, 15 August: On the occasion of Independence Day, the Director General of Police (DGP) Vijay Kumar hoisted the flag at the police headquarters of UP.

During this, all the police officers of the headquarters were present along with Special DG Prashant Kumar. On this occasion, the soldiers of UP Police gave him a guard of honour.

On this occasion, apart from the police headquarters, flag hoisting took place at all zones, police lines, police offices, police posts and PAC offices in the state. After this, the DGP felicitated the police personnel who did better work in turn.

In his address, the DGP first congratulated the people of the state and all the police personnel on Independence Day. He congratulated the respected policemen and their families for doing excellent work and wished them a bright future.

He has bowed down to all those martyrs of the country, because of whom we have got freedom today.

The Director General of Police said that at present the criminals are being punished under the zero tolerance policy of the Yogi Government of the state. Because of this, there has been a check in criminal incidents and the criminals are in jail. For doing better work in the last few years, the image of the police in Uttar Pradesh has remained better among the public. Women are safe in Uttar Pradesh. Police personnel have been instructed to work honestly.

It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Independence Day, flag hoisting has been done in all police offices, police stations, outposts, Reserve Police Line, PAC Headquarters, ATS, STF in Uttar Pradesh.
