Lucknow, 29 December: Durga Shankar Mishra will be posted as the new Chief Secretary (CS) of the Uttar Pradesh. DS Mishra, a 1984 batch IAS officer, was currently posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at the Centre.
He will now replace serving Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari in the Uttar Pradesh. The Central Government has given green signal for the posting of Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary.
Durga Shankar Mishra is counted among the honest and hardworking officers. The Uttar Pradesh government was also trying to bring him. The green signal has been received from the Central Government.
