UP Elections 2022: CM Yogi thanks people for landslide win

Gorakhpur/Lucknow, March 10: The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath won the Gorakhpur city assembly seat with a huge margin. He thanked the people of the state for the victory of BJP. He said that I thank the people for this massive victory.

Addressing the BJP workers in celebration after the victory, Yogi Adityanath said that development has to be carried forward with more strength.

In the state BJP office in Lucknow, he said that this victory also renders us a message of responsibility. We have to do development work according to the aspirations of the people.

Yogi further said that we have to move forward continuously under the leadership of the world’s popular leader and our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, he also thanked the Election Commission of India (ECI) for conducting the elections in a peaceful manner.

From Gorakhpur to Lucknow, BJP workers were seen in victory celebration soon after trends started coming in favour of the party.

However, the BJP performed better in Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Deoria districts of Gorakhpur division.

The power of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started showing in the assembly election results. His influence in Gorakhpur division was very effective. Yogi Adityanath, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate from Gorakhpur city, not only won his seat with a record vote, but also influenced all the seats in the four districts of Gorakhpur division.

People have started celebrating in Gorakhpur. People celebrated with drums at other places of the city including district BJP office, counting place, Gorakhpur University and Gorakhnath temple. During this, BJP workers said that this is a victory for development. Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is a victory.

A large number of BJP workers and supporters were raising slogans in Gorakhnath temple and Holi of flowers and Gulal is being played. BJP workers greeted each other by feeding them sweets.
