Lucknow, 15 December: Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh Excise Department Adarsh โโSingh has announced to extend one extra hour for celebrations keeping in mind Christmas and New Year.
Excise Commissioner Adarsh โโhas informed his district excise officers by sending a written letter about giving one hour more for celebrations.
District excise officers in various districts were informed by sending a written letter that one night before Christmas i.e. on the night of December 24, Christmas i.e. on the night of December 25 and on December 31, the night of the farewell of the old year and the arrival of the new year, liquor shops will sell till 11 pm instead of 10 pm. Shops which close at the fixed time of 10 pm will be opened for one extra hour.
Meanwhile, the liquor shops will open at 10 am as usual across the state
