Firozabad, 24 February: Amid Russia’s attack on Ukraine, Shashank, resident of Firozabad, has returned to his home on Thursday.
Shashank Dhakre, son of Shyam Manohar Dhakre, a resident of Etawah Road in Sirsaganj, who returned from Ukraine, told that he is pursuing MBBS from National Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine. This is his final year for this 6 year course.
He told that everything from food to drink has become expensive there. There are thousands of students who could not leave from there. Ever since the situation of war had arisen, there was an atmosphere of great fear. The ticket which was taken last time for Rs 25000 has now of Rs 53000 this time.
He has appealed to the Government of India (GOI) to help other stranded Indians.
