Lucknow, 06 February: Corona vaccination drive is being conducted in a phased manner across the state. In this series, a total of 84,109 health workers and frontline workers were vaccinated on Friday. These included 47,714 health workers and 36,395 frontline workers. With this, a total of 6, 73,210 health workers and frontline workers have been vaccinated against covid-19 so far, which is the highest in the country.
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Saturday that the first round of health workers has been completed on Friday. Health workers who have not yet been able to apply the first shot of the vaccine for some reason, will be given a mop up round on February 15, which will be the last opportunity for vaccinated health care workers to get vaccinated.
He said that vaccination of frontline workers has also started since Friday. After this, the first dose of vaccine will be given to the frontline workers again on February 11, 12 and 18. An effort will be made to complete the first dose of vaccine to frontline workers in these three days. Vaccination is being done as per the priority of the Government of India.
He said that after the colleges, schools for young children are also going to be opened. In such a situation, children have to keep in mind that when they go to school, they do not get too confused and keep distance from each other. Go to school wearing a mask.
Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health said that in the meantime, 145 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last twenty four hours. Meanwhile, 164 patients were discharged when they were fully healthy. The number of active cases has now come down to 4,438 when the transition graph in the state goes down. Currently the recovery rate from Corona is running at 97.82 percent.
He informed that a total of 5, 88,148 persons have been fully recovered after treatment since the onset of infection in the state. In the state, a total of 8,686 people have died due to infection since March. Six people have died in the last 24 hours.
Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health said that 1, 25,670 corona samples were tested in the state yesterday. At the same time, a total of 2, 85, 78,777 samples have been tested in the state.
He informed that e-Sanjeevani portal is constantly using by people. Yesterday, 4,369 people in the state received counselling from doctors sitting at home through e-Sanjeevani portal. So far, a total of 4, 84,784 people have received medical consultation through e-Sanjeevani portal.
