UP-GBC 4.o: PM Modi to inaugurate various projects worth crore in Lucknow on Monday

Lucknow, 18 February: Monday is going to be a very crucial day for the Yogi Adityanath government which is moving forward with the resolve of making Uttar Pradesh a one trillion dollar economy.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate more than 14 thousand projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore across the state through the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0) at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. Along with this, possibilities of about 34 lakh employment opportunities will also be opened up in the state.

The Prime Minister will also visit the exhibition to be organized here along with Chief Minister Yogi. While addressing the people of the state in the main GBC hangar, he will extend best wishes for the commencement of these projects. Last year, the Global Investors Summit was organized between 10 and 12 February. About a year later, Ground Breaking Ceremony 4.0 is being organized between 19-21 February, in which all the VIPs including Prime Minister Modi will participate.

After the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22 in Ayodhya, this is another big opportunity for the Yogi government, when the eyes of the whole world will be towards Uttar Pradesh. The state government spokesperson said that with the start of these projects under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi, the state government will move towards its goal.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the event, Prime Minister Modi will give information about the achievements of the government and will also tell the success mantras to the investors. On this occasion, Yogi will present his views regarding the suitable environment for industries in Uttar Pradesh as well as future plans.

Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Nandi will welcome the Prime Minister, while Hinduja Group Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja, Samsung South West Asia CEO JP Park, INGKA CEO Susan Pulver, Torrent Group MD Jinal Mehta and Adverb Technologies Chairman Jalaj Mehta will also visit the state. Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will also present his views here, after which the Prime Minister will launch the projects through digital ground breaking. On this occasion, a short film based on the achievements of the state government will also be shown to the Prime Minister.

All preparations for the event completed-

All preparations for the event have been completed. Two days ago, the Chief Minister had taken stock of the preparations and given necessary directions. The event is expected to be attended by approximately 4000 participants from across the world, including renowned industrialists, Fortune Global/India 500 companies, foreign investor partners, Ambassadors/High Commissioners and other distinguished guests.

In such a situation, different responsibilities have been given by Invest UP for the successful organization of the program. In this, nodal officers have been appointed for hotel arrangements for special guests. Key people have been appointed for airport, help desk, vehicle arrangement, parking as well as registration. Gold, Silver and Red passes have been made available to the visiting delegates. 10 different pavilions have been set up at the exhibition site, which include AI Pavilion, Textile, Data Centre/Electronics & IT, Warehouse & Logistics, Film City, Invest UP/Top Investors, Medical Devices, EV & Renewable Energy and Defence/Aerospace. Are. For the event, German hangars have been built using steel shipping containers as their base.

Also, 3D replica models of all the defense equipment including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be displayed here. Along with this, the first glimpse of the film city which is going to be built in Yida area will also be seen here.

Sectoral session and exhibition will show the glimpse of ‘Changing UP’ –

Along with the inauguration of GBC, a grand exhibition will also be organized in which more than 9 special sectors will be showcased. A 3-day exhibition will be organized in an area of ​​1250 square meters. These include AI Pavilion, Textile, Logistics and Warehousing, Defense and Aerospace, Data Centre, Electronics and IT, EV and Renewable Energy, Film City, Medical Equipments and ODOP. Sectoral sessions will also be organized in which the current status and future outline of Uttar Pradesh in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be shown.

Winds of investment will blow across the state –

14,619 projects worth Rs 10,23,537 crore are going to be launched in the state through GBC. The most important thing is that this investment will take place in all parts and districts of the state. Under this, maximum 52 percent investment projects will be started in Paschimanchal part of the state. 29 percent investment projects will be implemented in Purvanchal, 14 percent in Madhyanchal and 5 percent in Bundelkhand. Investment projects will be started in all 75 districts of the state. There are 19 districts which have achieved more than 100 percent of the investment target. In this, Etah had 354 percent, Sitapur 145, Shahjahanpur 127, Sonbhadra 121, Chandauli 117, Muzaffarnagar and Moradabad 114, Mirzapur 113 percent, Hardoi 111, Amethi 108, Barabanki 108, Fatehpur, Gonda 105. Percentage, Bareilly has achieved 104, Rampur 103, Bahraich 101 and Lakhimpur Kheri, Bhadohi and Bijnor have achieved 100 percent target.

Investment is happening in all sectors-

Most of the investment at 19.24 percent is set to be in housing. Apart from this, 15 percent investment is in renewable energy, 13 percent in manufacturing, 10 percent in IT and IT based services, 7.83 percent in logistics and warehousing, 7.5 percent in energy, 6.01 percent in food processing, 5.27 percent in electronics manufacturing, 2.96 percent in education. Will be established in. Along with this, Agriculture (0.37%), Animal Husbandry (0.25%), Automobiles & Electric Vehicles (0.33%), Biofuels/Biomass (0.82%), Dairy (1.04%), Defense & Aerospace (0.55%), Distilleries ( 0.84%), Financial Services (0.12%), Food & Civil Supplies (1.08%), Health Services (2.73%), Hospitality & Entertainment (2.78%), Infrastructure (0.02%), Textiles & Handloom (1.28%), Lumber Investment projects will also be started in based industry (1.00%) and other sectors (0.11%).

16 departments achieved 100 percent target –

37 departments are contributing to the projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore that are being started in the state through 37 departments. Among these, there are 16 departments which have achieved more than 100 percent target. In this, Basic Education Department has given 888 percent, Food and Civil Supplies (226%), Forest Department (182%), AYUSH (173%), Animal Husbandry (167%), Energy (165%), Secondary Education (139%), Technical Education (133%), Horticulture (120%), Additional Energy Sources (114%), Cane Development & Sugar Industry (112%), Medical Education (110%), Health (105%), YIDA (103%), Civil Aviation (100%) and Ginaida (100%) are included.

Already 3 GBCs have taken place –

This is the fourth ground breaking ceremony of Yogi government. Before this, the Yogi government had organized three ground breaking ceremonies, through which investments worth more than Rs 2.10 lakh crore were brought on the ground. The government had successfully organized the UP Investors Summit for the first time in February-2018. 1,045 MoUs worth Rs 4.28 lakh crore were signed in the summit. The first ground breaking ceremony was held in July 2018 and the second ground breaking ceremony was held in July 2019, in which 81 projects with an investment of Rs 61,792 crore and about 290 projects with an investment of Rs 67,202 crore respectively were successfully launched. In June 2022, the third edition of the ground-breaking ceremony was held, in which over 1,400 projects with an investment of over Rs 80,000 crore were launched.
