Bhadohi, 21 Oct: According to authorities, a government dentist committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence here on Saturday.
Gaurav Aggarwal (42), a resident of Khadhatti Mohal in the Gopiganj police station area, was admitted to the Mirzapur district’s Padri government hospital, they added. According to authorities, Aggarwal got home from work on Friday night and hung himself from the ceiling of his room with his wife’s saree.
His family members later forced open the door and took him to the Community Health Centre (CHC), where physicians pronounced him dead.
According to them, the body has been submitted for post-mortem examination. They stated that no suicide note was discovered and that additional legal action will be taken after the post-mortem report is received.
Santosh Kumar Chak, Chief Medical Officer of Bhadohi, who arrived at the CHC after hearing the tragic news, said the post-mortem will be performed on Saturday night.
