Gorakhpur, October 24: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday gifted development projects worth Rs 180 crore to Gorakhpur and said that Uttar Pradesh is now leading from every state of the country. Development has gained momentum here in every field. Despite the crisis of the Corona era, development projects are giving testimony to save lives and run a livelihood.
In the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony organized in Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University campus, he said that Uttar Pradesh has done more than 12.60 crore anti-coronavirus vaccinations. A record of more than eight and a half crore corona testing has been made. Not only this, one lakh 80 thousand beds are also ready in the hospitals of UP. Today Uttar Pradesh is not weak in any respect, but is the leading state of the country. There is a need to accelerate this thinking of development.
He said that Uttar Pradesh is top in all the schemes of the Central Government, number one among 44 schemes of the country. Be it Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Svanidhi Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, Swamitva Yojana or startup, UP is ahead in all.
He said that these schemes should have been implemented in Uttar Pradesh seven years back, but the previous government did not pay attention to the public interest. Four and a half years ago, the public reposed faith in PM Modi. BJP government was formed in the state. Then the plans were implemented. This has brought a positive change in the lives of the poor. Now everyone is getting the benefits of development schemes without any discrimination.
Gorakhpur is synonymous with development in the world
Chief Minister Yogi said that 25 years ago people were afraid to come to Gorakhpur. Today the circumstances have changed. No one is afraid to come here. Rather, Gorakhpur has become synonymous with development in the world. Development is the result of collective effort. This process of development before Diwali after long rains is going to make the vision of new Gorakhpur come true. With this, Gorakhpur will be recognized at the national and international level.
Inauguration of Fertilizer Factory-AIIMS next month
Presenting the picture of the changing Gorakhpur, he said that the compost factory and AIIMS are almost ready. Next month, both of them will have a grand inauguration at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These projects worth thousands of crores will set new dimensions of development. Ramgarh Tal is shining on the new horizon of tourism.
โAlong with tourism, the water sports complex will open the door of new possibilities for the youth here in that area,โ Yogi added.
During this, he also mentioned the zoo and said that the dream of the past is the reality of today.
Referring to BRD, he said that the medical college which was dilapidated 10 years ago is now equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
It has also refreshed the memories of Baba Raghav Das as a life-giving medical college during the Corona period.
