Varanasi, 04 February” “UP is the heart of India’s spiritual and religious tradition that represents the country and the world. UP has been considered as a state with limitless possibilities. In the leadership that India has given to the world on the global stage, one area that we tend to forget is the field of education, in which India was revered as Vishwa Guru and UP was its main sheet,” said UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Addressign the Higher Education Conclave here on Saturday, CM Yogi said keep the door open for the knowledge wherever it comes from.

He said “When Indian Manisha had coined the mantra of Aano Bhadra Kratvo Yantu Vishwat, the inspiration was to keep the door open for knowledge wherever it comes. In 2020, even when the world was stricken with Corona, this realization must have come. At that time, PM Modi proved his caliber as world guru in the field of ancient education by giving the country a national education policy.

The CM said, “We cannot run away from the responsibilities of the society. Be it a minister or a common man, there is only one act and system for all. We should have good infrastructure, faculty, digital library and give good environment to the university, but keep in mind that there should be no deviation from Indian values and ideals. It should be kept in mind that no such work should be done that a new stream contrary to nationalism may be born on the campus.”

He said that investment proposals worth Rs 1 lakh 57 thousand crore have been received in GIS only for education. New universities and centers of education will be established as models.

The CM said that the National Education Policy is giving freedom to establish campuses of international universities, but are we ready for this. We have to give a new environment. Why did we interrupt the process of research. The bottleneck of the process of documentation has to be removed. Youth have to be motivated for innovation.

He said that India is the youngest nation in the world, so UP is the youngest state in India. We have the most youth. They have infinite possibilities and we have to take them ahead.
