UP minister Nandi gets assassination threats, case registered

Noida, 5 May: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ got threats over calls on his official mobile number, prompting police to file an FIR after 15 days.

Nandi, who is in charge of Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI Promotion, and Investment Promotion, claimed he got the threat calls on April 19.

On May 3, an FIR was filed at Lucknow’s Hazratganj Kotwali authorities Station, according to authorities. Nandi is a BJP assembly member from Prayagraj (South).
