Saharanpur, June 22: Following a disagreement with her mother-in-law in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district, a woman killed her two kids and committed suicide by consuming poison, police said on Thursday.
After a violent disagreement with her mother-in-law, Mamta (26) poisoned her three kids, Archi (5), Sona (3), and Arvi (2), and ingested it herself, according to Additional SP (Rural) Sagar Jain.
According to the official, all four were brought to the hospital, where Mamta and her two daughters, Archi and Arvi, perished during treatment. Sona’s health is said to be stable. Police said an investigation was ongoing.
