Lucknow, 22 January: The second day of corona vaccination has completed across the state on Friday. Today, vaccination work is being done at 1,537 centers. As of 3 pm, 61,585 health workers have been vaccinated against coronavirus disease.
State Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Friday that after the nationwide program was launched on January 16, the campaign for vaccination is going on for the second day in Uttar Pradesh today. However, vaccination work will be done every Thursday and Friday from next week.
โToday, vaccination is being done at 1,537 centers. There are five members in each vaccination team. Whatever will be the vaccination of Face One and Face Two, an additional vaccine is also being given in it. In this way a team of six people is engaged for vaccination,โ he said.
He continued saying, as of 3 pm, 61,585 health workers have been vaccinated. No side effects of any kind have been reported so far. Vaccination is going on smoothly and systematically. People who have been vaccinated, all are perfectly healthy
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health informed that 370 new cases of corona infection have been reported across the state yesterday. During this time 484 people were discharged on getting healthy. The number of active cases in the state has come down to 7,528. At present, the rate of recovery in the state is running at 97.30 percent. With this, 8,605 people have died due to infection in the state so far.
A total of 1, 38,131 samples were investigated in the state in one day yesterday. A total of 2, 68, 53,170 samples have been investigated so far in the state.
Out of total active cases in the state, 2,449 people are in home isolation. At the same time 647 patients are admitted in private hospitals. Apart from this, the remaining patients are undergoing treatment in government hospitals of L-1, L-2 and L-3.
He informed that so far a total of 5,81,993 people have been recovered from Covid-19 in the state. 15,23,03,015 persons from 3,13,45,871 households have been surveyed through 5,08,695 team days in 1,83,833 areas through surveillance teams in the state.
He informed that 5,487 people have taken medical advice in twenty four hours through e-Sanjeevani in the state. At the same time, a total of 4, 26,309 people have received medical consultation using this facility.
