Lucknow, 08 July, The Uttar Pradesh has achieved a new record in its name in Corona vaccination.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh has left many states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal behind by administering more than 3 crore 58 lakh vaccination doses. This figure is more than other states of the country.
Along with vaccination, UP also tops in most tests. With the strategy and vaccination of triple T, the second wave of corona infection in UP is under control. Under the massive vaccination campaign in the state, vaccination is being done on the basic mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vaccine, and Free Vaccine’.
In the state, the first dose of vaccine has been given more than three crore three lakh and the second dose of more than 55 lakh vaccine has been given.
On Thursday, more than six lakh vaccine doses were given across the state.
It is worth mentioning that from July 1, the target of providing vaccine-cover to minimum 10 lakh people every day was set by the UP government. Under which one million vaccine doses were given in the state on July 6.
The Yogi government has set a record by applying the maximum number of vaccine doses in a day. 10, 3, 435 vaccine doses were given in the state.
Earlier on June 24, 9 lakh three thousand people were given the vaccine dose.
Giving impetus to the immunization drive in UP, vaccination is being done on a war footing in urban and rural areas. The target has been set to vaccinate 10 crore people by 31st August.
Under Mission June, the state government had set a target of administering vaccine doses to one crore people, but more than one crore 29 thousand doses were given in the state.
UP will be the first state to test more than six crore corona
The policy of aggressive tracing and testing and treatment has been helpful in controlling corona in UP. UP is going to be the first state to test more than 06 crore corona.
So far, more than 05, 98, 48, 583 tests have been done in the state. In the last 24 hours, 2, 59,174 Covid samples were tested. This is the highest number of Covid testing done by any single state in the country. Despite the controlled situation of corona infection, CM Yogi has given instructions to continue aggressive testing in UP.
Cases of only 112 new infections, 258 people defeated Corona
With continuous efforts, the situation of the second wave of corona epidemic in UP is under control. In the last 24 hours, 112 new patients have been confirmed in the state, while 258 people defeated the corona infection during this period. There has been a steady decline in active cases since April 30 and currently there are 1,789 active cases.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate of corona in the state has further improved to 98.6 percent. So far, more than 16 lakh 82 thousand people of the state have become healthy after getting free from corona infection.
