Deoria, 03 October: Police action is underway after the death of six people, including five from the same family, in a land dispute that took place on Monday in Fatehpur Lohda Tola in Rudrapur Kotwali area. In this case, the police arrested 16 people on Tuesday and sent them to jail.
The CO said that in connection with the murder that took place in Fatehpur village under Rudrapur Kotwali area, Gorakh Yadav, Shyam Yadav, Kush Yadav, Paramhans Yadav, Ramji Yadav, Devanand Yadav, Durgesh Yadav, Yadav, Rambhavan Yadav, Radheshyam Yadav, Diwakar Tiwari, Bechu Rajbhar, Arjun Yadav have been arrested. Apart from these, Parshuram Rajbhar, Pradeep Rajbhar Yadav have been arrested.
The CO added, the police have recovered a shovel, an iron rod and three sticks from them. Advance action has been taken against all these accused and they have been sent to jail. Along with this, other people are also being identified. Force has been deployed in the village as a precautionary measure.
