Mau, February 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday announced its candidates for two assembly seats in Mau district.
The party has fielded, senior BJP leader and arch-rival of Bahubali Sadar MLA Mukhtar Ansari, Ashok Singh from the Mau Sadar seat.
However, on the other hand, from Mohammadabad Gohna seat, the BJP has fielded Poonam Saroj, a teacher in Inter College, in his place by cutting the ticket of former minister, MLA and stalwart leader Ram Sonkar.
Meanwhile, with the announcement of these two candidates of the BJP many candidates in the hope of tickets in Sadar have been disappointed.
At the same time, many meanings are being made to change the ticket of Ram Sonkar from Muhammadabad Gohna.
If sources are to be believed, there is a discussion that the party had given ticket to Ram Sonkar, but the condition of Ram Sonkar was not coming right in the ground report in his seat, so the party changed the ticket to Associate Professor Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Umesh Saroj’s wife in the Medical College Poonam Saroj has been declared as the candidate. Poonam Saroj is the lecturer of Sanskrit at Public Women’s City Inter College Baradarpur in Muhammadabad, Gohna.
Poonam Saroj’s father Ramswaroop Saroj is the retired district judge.
Now for the BJP, the fight for the Muhammadabad Gohna safe seat has become very strong. BJP will fight with the SP and the BSP.
At the same time, there is a lot of enthusiasm and happiness in the public after getting Ashok Singh after waiting for the seat of Mau assembly. People say that only Ashok Singh can give competition to Mukhtar Ansari.
In Mau Sadar seat, Congress Party has fielded Madhavendra Bahadur Singh and Bahujan Samaj Party has fielded its party’s state president Bhim Rajbhar.
Mukhtar Ansari, who has been an MLA for five consecutive terms, is putting all his might to reach the House for the sixth time.
On the other hand, BJP will try hard to bloom lotus by trusting Ashok Singh to free Mau.
