Lucknow, 31 Oct: The ultimatum issued by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to make all roads in the state pothole-free by November 15, is having a significant impact.
The process of fixing potholes in all districts of the state is said to be moving at a breakneck speed. Because there are just 15 days left to accomplish this task by November 15, Public Works Minister Jitin Prasad has also issued an order in this respect.
The Public Works Department (PWD) has cancelled all engineers’ leaves, including the department’s director. Apart from monitoring the process of removing potholes on Uttar Pradesh’s roadways, PWD Minister Jitin Prasad is also requesting a daily report on the work being done.
