Lucknow, 28 Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed government employees on Monday as part of the Rozgar Mela.
Modi virtually visited the Rozgar Mela, a recruitment effort in which states and union territories appoint thousands of young people each month. “In the last few years, we have made many major changes in the recruitment process of paramilitary forces,” Modi stated during the occasion. The application to selection procedure has been accelerated, and “examination for recruitment in paramilitary forces is now also conducted in 13 local languages.”
“On this day nine years ago, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana was launched.” “This scheme has played a significant role in the economic empowerment of villages and the poor, as well as in job creation,” the Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister stated that the pharmaceutical and car industries will increase in the coming days. Modi specifically mentioned Uttar Pradesh, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled state that includes the Prime Minister’s parliamentary seat Varanasi.
“Once upon a time, UP was far behind in development but far ahead in crime… But today, with the rule of law in place, UP is reaching unprecedented heights of growth,” Modi added.
