Lucknow, 28 September: The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF), which was searching for Shaista Parveen and Zainab Fatima, the absconding wives of mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf, who were killed in Prayagraj, got a big success in Delhi on Thursday.
As, the arrest of Ashraf’s absconding brother-in-law Saddam has brought UP STF very close to Shaista Parveen and Zainab Fatima.
UP STF Additional Director General of Police Amitabh Yash said that before the murder of advocate Umesh Pal in Prayagraj, there was a meeting of the shooters with Ashraf. This meeting was organized by Saddam himself. Our Bareilly unit of UP STF remained engaged day and night in the operation to arrest Saddam. As a result of which he was successful in arresting him from Delhi.
He said that a case has been registered in Bareilly against Abdul Samad alias Saddam, arrested from Delhi. Bareilly unit of UP STF has arrested Saddam in the same. Further interrogation of him may yield information about absconding gang members.
In response to a question, he said that the search for Shaista Parveen and Zainab Fatima is in full swing. Some more information will also emerge during Saddam’s interrogation.

A few days ago, a photo of Saddam in Dubai went viral. After this, Bareilly unit of UP STF had kept its close watch on Saddam’s route.
After finding his location in Mumbai and then Delhi, UP STF became very active. Later the help of AI cameras was taken and success was achieved in arresting Saddam.
