Recently, the Government of India had given relief to the travellers coming from abroad. For this, a new guideline was issued for the travellers coming to India. It has also been implemented. According to this, international travellers will not be required to compulsorily stay in quarantine for a week.
73 new corona patients in the state
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that on Wednesday, a total of 1, 19,543 samples were tested in a single day in the state. There have been 73 new cases of corona infection.
He said that a total of 10, 64, 97,433 samples have been tested so far in the state. In the last 24 hours, 208 people and so far a total of 20,45,771 people have been cured of Kovid-19. He said that there are a total of 924 active cases of corona in the state.
Prasad said that the work of Covid immunization is being done continuously. On March 16, 2022, 3, 63,310 vaccine doses have been given in a day in the state. He informed that till yesterday, 15, 25, 24,867 and the second dose 12, 13, 77,225 were given to people above 18 years in the state.
He said that till Wednesday, a total of 1, 29, 35,575 and the second dose 66, 54,605 โโhave been given to the age group of 15 to 17 years. A total of 5,040 first doses have been given to the age group of 12 to 14 years till yesterday. Till yesterday 23, 48,454 precaution doses have been given.
He said that till yesterday, a total of 29, 58, 45,766 doses of vaccine have been given.
