Lucknow, 14 February: Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission Vice President Aparna Yadav has demanded cancellation of Anubhav Singh Bassi’s show. Aparna has written a letter to the officiating Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar on Friday.

It is written in the letter that a program of Anubhav Bassi is going to be organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on February 15. Watching the videos of Anubhav’s old show on YouTube shows that abusive words have been used in his show.

While talking to journalists, she said that it should be ensured that no abusive words or indecent comments about women are made in this proposed program and the programs of other such stand up artists. She believes that such shows should be canceled.

Aparna Yadav said that along with the state, the Government of India will also have to keep a strict watch on such YouTube channels. YouTube is such a platform of social media which is accessible to children as well as the elderly. Therefore, I demand that the government cancel such shows and I demand from the Director General of Police that such programs should not be given permission in future.
