Jhansi, May 07: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the first air-conditioned gymnasium hall of Bundelkhand in Major Dhyan Chand Stadium with girls. He also saw the feats performed by younger and some older children.
During this, administrative officers including Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, MP Anurag Sharma, Minister Mannu Kori, Sadar MLA Ravi Sharma, Garautha MLA Jawahar Singh Rajput, Babina MLA Rajiv Singh Parichha were present with him.
After the inauguration, young children and young girls and women performed gymnast feats before the Chief Minister. The girls showed their boxing feats.
Uttar Pradesh Sports Director RP Singh said that the state-of-the-art gymnasium hall inaugurated by the Chief Minister would encourage 11 sports related to gymnasts. This air-conditioned gymnasium hall built at a cost of three crore 62 lakh 26 thousand will be no less than a boon for the players of not only Jhansi but the entire Bundelkhand. Now national, state level and district level games can be organized here.
โHere players will get the facility to practice various sports and organize big games and better trained players will bring laurels to the country and the state in international competitions,โ Singh said.
Earlier, the Chief Minister reviewed the development works and law and order with the officers of the Division in the Commissioner’s Auditorium. After this, while meeting with the public representatives, they also discussed the local problems here.
