Washington, 12 Apr: American President Joe Biden on Wednesday said that Iran is threatening to launch an attack on Israel after Israel struck the Iranian Consulate in Syria. Biden said America is prepared to tackle the Iranian attack. Biden suddenly sent a senior commander to Israel to discuss the Iranian threat.
According to The New York reports, Iran has been threatening to attack Israel following the Israeli attack on its Consulate in Syria on April 1. Senior Iranian commanders were killed in the attack.
Biden said that America is ready to counter any kind of attack. Israel also alerted its defense forces following threats of attack by Iran.
American officials said America is with Israel. Meanwhile, American authorities held discussions with China, Egypt, and other countries to pacify Iran.
Israel Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and his American counterpart Lloyd Austin held a telephonic discussion on the issue.
