It is noteworthy that recently Uttar Pradesh had created a new record by crossing the figure of 80 lakh in ABHA based OPD registration.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh had also created a record of creating 10 crore ABHA IDs. These achievements of Abha token generation and ID creation are the result of effective efforts made by CM Yogi for awareness and active participation of people towards Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in the state. Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Abha) is an initiative of the National Health Authority (NHA).

It is a health savings account launched under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). It is designed to provide financial assistance to the economically weaker sections (EWSs) for their healthcare needs. Abha ID is a unique 14-digit identification number linked to the citizen’s Aadhaar or mobile number. It helps them store and access all information digitally. This includes their health history, consultation details, medical records and prescriptions.
