Uttar Pradesh will become self-reliant with youth power, says Yogi in Gonda

Gonda, March 20: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday distributed loans worth Rs 55 crore to 1,423 young entrepreneurs of Devipatan division under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign (CM Yuva).

During this, he also distributed toolkits to craftsmen under the One District One Product program. Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi observed the startup exhibition organized by young entrepreneurs.

While addressing the program, Yogi said that if youth energy gets opportunities in the right direction, then no one can stop them from moving forward. He said that Uttar Pradesh will become self-reliant only with youth power.

The Chief Minister said that the double engine government is participating in the economic self-reliance of young entrepreneurs.

Addressing the youth, he said that the strength of the nation is measured by its young talent, energy and discipline. Where youth get opportunities, no power can harm that country. He said that more than 3 lakh youth have registered under the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Abhiyan, out of which loans have been sanctioned to more than 32,700 young entrepreneurs.

Yogi said that more youth will be connected to this campaign in the three-day fair to be held in every district on 25, 26 and 27 March.

He advised the youth to take training in loan work, so that they can become successful entrepreneurs. After getting a loan of up to 5 lakh for the first time, a facility of up to 10 lakh will be given next time. The Chief Minister said that the youth who used to wander for employment till yesterday will now become an entrepreneur and take the district and the state forward.

Chief Minister Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh and the country can be taken to new heights with the self-reliance of youth power. He congratulated 1,423 youth on loan distribution and assured to benefit other youth in the fair to be held on 25-27 March. Yogi said that only you youth will make Prime Minister Modi’s resolve of developed India come true in Amrit Mahotsav year.

He called upon the youth to move forward with patience and willpower, so that they can make Uttar Pradesh the growth engine of the country.

Action against corruption will set an example: Chief Minister

Taking a tough stand on corruption, the Chief Minister said that the government is working on the policy of zero tolerance. If someone asks for money in the name of getting a loan, then complain about it. The government will help through single window system and investment charioteer. Yogi warned that such action will be taken against those who commit corruption that they will become an example and will not be able to find a place in government service in future.

He said corruption hollows out the system like a termite. To eradicate it from the root, the society will have to fight together with the government. This is necessary for the development of the youth and the coming generation.

–Women are being given priority in jobs

Referring to the government’s efforts towards empowering women, Yogi said that before 2017 there were only 10,000 women in the Uttar Pradesh Police. Recently, 12,000 daughters joined the recruitment of 60,244. He announced that now at least 20 percent of the posts in every recruitment will be reserved for daughters. He said that so far more than 25,000 daughters have been given jobs in 1,56,000 recruitments. Apart from this, 7.5 lakh government employees have already been recruited. He said that our daughters are progressing in every field. The government is ensuring every possible opportunity for them.

Chief Minister Yogi said that UP, which was earlier called a sick state, has today become the second largest economy of the country. He said that soon we will make it number one. Uttar Pradesh is the state producing the most food grains, sugarcane and ethanol in the country. The maximum number of units of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are in UP and each unit has been given security insurance of Rs 5 lakh.

Yogi said that artisans and craftsmen were honored through One District One Product (ODOP) and Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana. The country which gives respect to its youth and food providers reaches the peak of prosperity.

During this, dignitaries and officials like Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan, Dara Singh Chauhan, MP Karan Bhushan Singh, MLA Vinay Kumar Dwivedi, Ramapati Shastri, Bawan Singh, Prem Narayan Pandey, Prabhat Kumar Verma, Prateek Bhushan Singh, Ajay Singh and Legislative Council member Awadhesh Kumar Singh were present.
