Dehradun, 25 April: The first worship at Baba Kedarnath Dham was done in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rawal Bhimashankar Linga and Pujari Shivling and Dharmacharyas offered prayers. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, flowers were showered on the devotees by helicopter. With this, the portals of three holy places including Gangotri-Yamunotri and Kedarnath were opened. The doors of Lord Badri Vishal will also be opened for devotees to have darshan on the 27th of April.
On the opening of the doors of Baba Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers at Kedarnath and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. The Chief Minister welcomed the devotees who had arrived to visit Baba Kedarnath. He participated in the Bhandara program organized by the chief servant in the temple premises.
Chief Minister Dhami said that every possible effort has been made to make the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand smooth and safe. Social organizations and voluntary organizations are also getting full cooperation for the yatra. Based on the experiences of the previous years, work has been done to advance travel arrangements.
He has appealed to the devotees coming to visit Baba Kedar after knowing about the weather so that no one should face any inconvenience due to the weather. Yatra is going on smoothly in Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham.
On this occasion, Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay, MLA Kedarnath Shaila Rani Rawat, District Panchayat President Amardei Shah, District President BJP Singh Mahavir Panwar, former BJP President Dinesh Uniyal, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, Superintendent of Police Visakha Ashok Bhadane, Chief Executive Officer Kedarnath Yogendra Singh and other devotees were present.
