Uttarakhand: Over 19 lakh devotees visited Chardham yatra so far

Dehradun, June 11: Till June 11 in the Char Dham Yatra 2022 in Uttarakhand, over 19 lakh pilgrims have visited all the Dhams so far. The journey is at its peak even as the weather remains normal.

According to the media in-charge of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, Harish Gaur, 6, 57,547 pilgrims have visited Badrinath Dham from the date of opening of the doors from May 8 to June 11. Badrinath Dham devotees reached 13,287 till 4 pm today.

He apprised, the date of opening of Kedarnath Dham doors has reached 6,33,548 from May 6 till this evening. Out of this 64,646 pilgrims reached through chopper service. By 4 pm, 12,435 devotees reached Kedarnath. Till Saturday, 12, 91,095 pilgrims have visited Badrinath-Kedarnath.

Gaur further told, from the date of opening of the doors of Gangotri Dham, 3,50,756 pilgrims have visited till this evening. 8206 passengers reached for darshan till 4 pm on Saturday. From May 3 to June 11, the date of opening of Yamunotri Dham, 2, 62,402 people visited. Darshan reached 4572 pilgrims till 4 pm on Saturday. So far 6, 13,158 people have visited Gangotri-Yamunotri.

Similarly, till now a total of 19, 04253 (nineteen lakh four thousand two hundred thirty-five) pilgrims have reached the four Dhams.
