Dehradun, 17 October: Mufti Shamoon Kazmi, President of Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Board, said on Thursday that now Sanskrit education will be given in the madrasas of the state soon. In this regard, the Madrasa Board has discussed with the Sanskrit Education Department. An MoU will be signed soon for this.
Mufti Shamoon Kazmi, President of Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Board, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Dhami, the resolution of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ to all the communities of the country is gaining momentum.
He said that Congress kept the children away from connecting with the mainstream. Congress kept showing the fear of BJP and Sangh for its vote bank. Congress has nothing to do with the future of children. He said that till now the perception about Madrasa was especially the language and culture of a different community, but now efforts are being made to change it. Along with Urdu and Arabic, knowledge of Sanskrit language will be imparted in madrasas.
Shamoon Kazmi told that he has met the Secretary of Sanskrit Department Deepak Kumar regarding teaching Sanskrit in madrasas, after which it has been decided that a contract will be signed with the Sanskrit Department. Both the ancient languages โโare connected to each other.
He said that due to continuous reform in the Madrasa Education Board and madrasas in Uttarakhand, many such new provisions will be made now. Which were not considered logical till now. Soon after signing an MoU, Sanskrit education will also be taught in all the registered madrasas of Uttarakhand.
Shamoon Kazmi told that both Sanskrit and Arabic are ancient languages. The culture of both of them is similar to each other to a great extent. Today, if the Maulvi is taught Sanskrit properly, then many issues between the two communities will be resolved automatically.
He said that a campaign is also being run in madrasas regarding cow, Ganga and environment. Yoga does not belong to any particular religion but works to keep the body healthy and connect everyone. In this way, languages โโalso work to increase knowledge by connecting all religions.
