Varanasi, May 18: Making objectionable remarks against Hindu gods Lord Shiva and Lord Ram on various social media platforms has put the Samajwadi Party (SP) Minority Morcha Metropolitan President Javed Ansari in deep trouble.
Jaitpura police registered a case against the accused SP leader under various sections of the IT Act on Wednesday.
Regional councilor representative Vivek Jaiswal also provided evidence against the accused SP leader by tendering a complaint in the police station.
Vivek Jaiswal, a resident of Jaitpura Digia, told through a written complain that during the survey in the Gyanvapi masjid premise, as the advocates of the plaintiffs had told about getting the Shivling, shortly after that, Javed, the city President of SP Minority Morcha Javed Ansari, resident of Sheshman Bazar, police station Jaitpura had made indecent remarks against Shivling and Lord Shankar on various social media platforms including Facebook, WhatsApp.
