New Delhi, 29 December: Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra has so far reached more than 1 lakh gram panchayats and the total number of participants is more than 2 crore.
Under this Yatra, more than 8.5 lakh people were screened for sickle cell disease and more than 27,630 people were referred to higher public health facilities.
On Friday, the Health Ministry said that under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the cumulative number of footfalls so far in 1,08,500 gram panchayats and urban local bodies has reached 2,10,24,874. Ayushman Bharat β Ayushman cards are being generated using Ayushman app for Bharat Sankalp Yatra developed under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).
According to the ministry, cards are being distributed to the beneficiaries. More than 32,54,611 cards were distributed by the end of the 44th day. According to the data received from NHA, 1,44,80,498 cards have been made so far in the districts where the programs have been organised.
According to the ministry, more than 80,01,825 people have been screened for TB patients so far, out of which more than 4,86,043 have been referred to higher public health facilities. On-spot registration is also being provided to the participants willing to become Nikshay Mitra. In the 44th day so far, more than 1,40,852 patients have given their consent under PMTBMA and more than 50,799 new Nikshay Mitras have been registered.
Health Ministry said so far, more than 8,51,194 people have been tested, of which 27,630 have been found positive.
