Raipur, 10 December: The name of the new Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has been announced. Vishnu Deo Sai has been appointed the Chief Minister of the state. This decision was taken in the legislative party meeting on Sunday. Vishnu Deo Sai is the MLA from Kunkuri assembly seat.
Since this morning, intense deliberations regarding the name of the Chief Minister were going on in the Kushabhau Thackeray complex. The names of Dr Raman Singh, State BJP President Arun Sao, Vishnu Deo Sai, Renuka Singh, Ramvichar Netam, OP Chaudhary, Lata Usendi were in discussion for the post of Chief Minister.
Opinions were taken by talking to the elected MLAs individually. The three observers Arjun Munda, Sarbananda Sonowal and Dushyant Gautam have discussed among themselves and informed the BJP high command about the decision of the legislature party meeting.
