New Delhi, 27 January: The India Meteorological Department has forecast rain in many parts of the country on January 28, 29 and 30. Meanwhile, Railways has cancelled 284 trains running today. An official of the department gave this information on Friday morning.
This official says that there is a possibility of rain in the states of North and West India between 28 and 30 January. Also, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather in the national capital Delhi on Friday. The minimum temperature of Delhi can be recorded at 9 and the maximum temperature at 19 degrees Celsius.
He said that in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 11 and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 24 degree Celsius today. Fog is also expected in the morning and evening. During this, the temperature of most parts of North-West India will drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius.
Apart from this, cold wave conditions may persist in the western parts of Rajasthan and remote areas of Punjab. Dense fog may occur in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh in the morning. Dense fog is forecast for the next 48 hours in Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
A railway official has said that it has been decided to cancel 284 trains on Friday. 41 trains have been partially cancelled. Apart from this, the timings of 11 and the route of 20 have been changed.
