Kanpur, 27 November: The Meteorological Department has predicted that due to light to moderate cloudy sky during the next five days, there is a possibility of light rainfall at local level along with strong winds on November 27 and 28. This information was given by Dr S.N. Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur on Monday.
He said that the maximum temperature around Kanpur division on Monday was 22.0 degrees Celsius, which fell below normal (-4.2 degrees Celsius) and the minimum temperature was 12.0 degrees Celsius.
He added, talking about relative humidity, maximum humidity has reached 93 percent and minimum humidity has reached 64 percent. The average wind speed was 1.9 kilometers per hour and the wind direction was north-east.
Weather system across the country
The meteorologist said that the western disturbance is seen as a circulation over central Pakistan. An induced cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining West Rajasthan is now over Western parts of Rajasthan and a Cyclonic Circulation over parts of Madhya Pradesh. A trough is extending from South-West Arabian Sea to Central Arabian Sea up to Gujarat region. An underlying cyclonic circulation is persisting over some parts of Gujarat. A cyclonic circulation has formed over the southern Andaman Sea.
