Kanpur, 14 December: The Meteorological Department has predicted that in the coming five days, the sky will be light to moderately cloudy with the temperature fluctuating by 1 to 2 degrees. But there is no chance of rain, said Dr S.N. Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur on Thursday.
He said that the maximum temperature recorded around Kanpur division on Thursday was 24.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 9.0 degrees Celsius.
Talking about relative humidity, he apprised that the maximum was 95 percent and the minimum was 45 percent. The average wind speed was 2.7 kilometers per hour and the wind direction was south-west.
