Lucknow, 25 November: Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav while talking to the media said that our Samajwadi Party MP Zia-ur-Rahman was not present in Sambhal at the time of stone pelting incident in Sambhal. Despite that, the name of the MP was registered in the FIR.
Akhilesh Yadav said that on November 23, people from the police and administration reached Jama Masjid for a survey, he said that a second survey will be conducted the next morning on November 24. Protesting against this, people pelted stones and in retaliation, the police administration opened fire. Bullets were fired, five people died. Along with the people from the police and administration, the people who filed the petition are also responsible for spoiling the atmosphere of Sambhal.
Akhilesh said that the policemen involved in the incident should be identified and suspended. A case of murder should be registered against them. We demand appropriate action so that such incidents do not occur in future and no one carries out such illegal activities against the Constitution.
